Rasta Prayer and Blessing

Livicated to the Honourable Robert Nesta Marley

Berhane Selassie I

May He Grace You

May Jah grace ye with the Holy Spirit
With all His rewards may He delight you
May he grace you with overseeing
With the holy spirit and loving-kindness

With an eternal covenant may He grace you,
Causing you to greatly rejoice
As He graced you with righteous judgement
That you not stumble

May He look graciously upon all your works
May He grace you with eternal truth
May He look graciously upon all your youth
May He guide and protect Rasta people

I have heard the words of this people
They are right in all they have spoken
Heed the words of Jah Prophet
Speaking of goodness in My name

Jah Ras Tafari sees clearly
Hears utterances of the Word
Knows the knowledge of the Most High
Still today with one eye open

Jahn Hoy observed Your word,
And kept Your covenant
His people burn incense before You
and sing songs of joyful praise

They will praise Him for His grace
Saying Arise, Jah Ras Tafari
Your name is my deliverance
My rock, my fortress, my deliverer

Jah, You renew my heart
Turn to me and be gracious to me
Give of Your strength to Your servant
Show me a good omen

I, Your anointed one, have understanding,
and I will tell others about You,
For You have given me knowledge
You have endowed me with great insight

Amen

Descendants and Disciples of Ras Tafari; keep and Defend the Faith

Let the whole of this work be a tribute to the Lion and the Lamb, paid in homage to Nesta, whose lyrical offerings are more eloquent, and whose vocal expressions are more heartfull, than any ever heard upon this planet. If King David’s Psalms prove out to be a collection of the Holy Works of an era rather than a single Being, then there is no longer even a contest. Bob is King in the New Kingdom of Music. Think about all the great Musicians in Heaven; Who is He that gets to choose among them so?

This book is a love letter from myself to the Holy City, the Solar Goddess, La Heavana Musica, Jahsheba Zion; a plea from Father Sky to Mother Earth. A Human must do what Jah LORD requests. I am not being unreasonable when suggesting that Zion lead the solar conversion.

Your insight, caring, and striving for justice, have truly lit up Our world and moved the people forward. Descendants and Disciples of Ras Tafari; keep and Defend the Faith, for Jeshua and Moses guide Your every move, while Elijah and His Majesty observe with glowing approval. Kidist Etiopia, Your Light shines out over all the nations, bringing Peace to the lands. Jeshua, thank You for everything. Let the peoples Unite, and the healing begin. Truly, We give thanks for everything, praise Jeshua.

21

Hear my prayer, O LORD,
and let my cry come unto thee.
Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble;
incline thine ear unto me:
in the day when I call, answer me speedily.
For my days are consumed like smoke,
and my bones are burning like fire.
My heart is smitten, and withered like grass;
so that I forget to eat my bread.
By reason of the voice of my groaning,
my bones cleave to my skin.
I am like a pelican of the wilderness:
I am like an owl of the desert.
I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.
Mine enemies reproach me all the day;
and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.

For I have eaten ashes like bread,
and mingled my drink with weeping,
because of thine indignation and thy wrath:
for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.

My days are like a shadow that declineth;
and I am withered like grass.
But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever;
and thy remembrance unto all generations.
Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion:
for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.
For thy servants take pleasure in her stones,
and favour the dust thereof.

So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD,
and all the kings of the earth thy glory.
When the LORD shall build up Zion,
He shall appear in His glory.
He will regard the prayer of the destitute,
and not despise their prayer.
The children of Thy servants shall continue,
and their seed shall be established before Thee.

Lift up your eyes on high,
and behold who hath created these things,
that bringeth out their host by number:
He calleth them all by names
by the greatness of His might,
for that He is strong in power;
not one faileth.

I will race against the leader
Of any nation on earth
I protect the Protectors
I defend the Defenders
I will deliver My People
Unto the Promised Land

Thus saith the LORD
In the early days and

The final days of man
