Xantrex Solar Grid Tie Inverters in $10 million deal with Germany's Solon

Xantrex Technology and Solon AG have signed an agreement valued at more than US $10 million. Under this two-year agreement, Xantrex will supply custom solar grid tie inverters to Solon AG. The first shipment of Xantrex Solar Grid Tie Inverters under this two-year agreement will begin in October this year. This agreement is intended as the beginning of a long-term partnership between Solon and Xantrex. Mossadiq Umedaly, Xantrex's chairman also characterized the deal as a major step for Xantrex in the European solar market.
