830BC to 780BC; New Chronology of Global History

We're just going to sketch out the post and then expand it as more research is completed. Readers are invited to post additional comments on events that occurred within or close to each time perios.

830 BCE to 780BCE:

Around the time of the death of Pharaoh Pedubastis (traditionally pharaoh of 23rd Dynasty, synchronizes with Horemheb of 19th Dynasty in revised chronology), Adad-Nirian III of Assyria conquered Damascus and the Upanishads were being composed in India and Etruscan civilization was on the rise in Italy. This era marks the 19th Dynasty in Egypt, with Horemheb ending the 18th and beginning the 19th, with initial rulers Ramses I and Seti I giving way to the long reign of Ramses the Great, then Merneptah, Amenmesse, Seti II, Siptah and Twosret.

The Neo-Assyrian Empire reaches the peak of its power, conquering the Kingdom of Israel as well as nearby countries.

In what are now the Tabasco and Veracruz regions of Mexico, beautiful pyramids were being constructed of stone, by the Olmec civilization. The Olmec created 4 colossal heads at la Venta.

Here's one of them:

In 780 BC the first historical solar eclipse was recorded in China; the Chinese were building kites made of bamboo and silk.
